We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Fuel Accountant
Location: Enugu
Employment Type: Full Time
Reports to: Financial Controller
Key Responsibilities
- Obtains from all Stations copy of invoices/delivery documents for aviation fuel uplift on day-to-day basis.
- Obtains from the respective Fuel vendors statement of accounts on day-to-day basis, reconciling same with airline records.
- Maintains comprehensive and updated records (database) on fuel-related information.
- Ensures that all fuel-related invoices are properly and promptly posted in Tally as appropriate in accordance with the chart of accounts.
- Prepares and submit daily reports on balance due to/from respective fuel vendors for timely decision making as well as weekly and Month-end comprehensive reports in prescribed format.
- Recommends to management more efficient, cost-saving measures in the management of aviation fuel for the airline.
Qualification, Experience & Skills
- B.Sc. Degree or HND in Accounting.
- 3 – 5 years experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be smart and diligent at all times
- Aviation experience would be an added advantage.
Job Title: Accounts Officer – Refund Desk
Location: Enugu
Employment Type: Full Time
Reports to: Revenue Accountant
Key Responsibilities
- Receives and collates all Refund Application forms with ticket details as may be submitted by locations / stations / Customer Service desk and customers.
- Registers promptly all Refund Applications in Refunds register (database)
- Checks status of each ticket from the reservation system as to ascertain current status – if ticket is unused / partly used / refundable.
- Scrutinizes all Ticket Refund Applications and supporting documents as to ensure completeness of documentation and eligibility for refunds.
- Scrutinizes all Refund requests relating to unticketed transactions and relevant supporting documents to ensure completeness of documentation and eligibility for refunds.
- Updates Payment details for each refund application processed in the Refund Register upon payment of Refundable amount.
- Responds promptly and correctly to the numerous day to day requests by the Commercial Team for confirmation of online payment transactions through the Paystack platform.
Qualification, Experience & Skills
- B.Sc. Degree or HND in Accounting
- 3 – 5 years experience in similar role in an airline or Travel Agency.
- Working knowledge of Videcom Reservation System would be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Title: Payroll Accountant
Location: Enugu
Employment Type: Full Time
Reports to: Financial Controller
Key Responsibilities
- Shall obtain from HR relevant Payroll records for processing the monthly Payroll for the entire staff of the company ensuring that the computation of the payroll including all deductions are correct and final version of Payroll timely presented to Management for approval within the stipulated time-frame.
- Shall be responsible for the upload of the approved Payroll data into the payment portal ensuring that each transaction is uploaded correctly from/to the appropriate bank accounts for approvals of the payments to respective staff.
- Shall attend to and resolve payroll related issues arising from staff at any point in time.
- Shall prepare schedules of PAYE, Pension, WHTax deducted each month and process remittance to the appropriate authorities within the stipulated time-frame.
- Shall maintain records /files relating to payments of PAYE, Pensions, WHTaxes and other payroll related remittances.
Qualification, Experience & Skill
- B.Sc. Degree or HND in Accounting.
- 3 – 5 years experience in a similar role.
- Proficient on the use of MS Office, specifically Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be Computer literate.
Job Title: Inventory Accountant
Location: Enugu
Employment Type: Full Time
Reports to: Financial Controller
Key Responsibilities
- Obtains copies of invoices for aircraft spare parts and other engineering inventory items received /paid for ongoing basis.
- Obtains schedules/copies of documents reflecting the receipt and utilization of aircraft spare parts for specific aircrafts on weekly basis.
- Maintains comprehensive and updated Inventory movement record that show clearly the receipts and utilization of all aircraft spare parts and other inventory related items at any given period.
- Ensures all perpetual stock taking and accountability with analysis of any discrepancies and advise relevant parties accordingly.
- Co-ordinates the processing of Form A and Form M for engineering items as the need arises in consultation.
- Continuous Interface & Follow-up with various parties as to resolve Inventory -related issues as at when required as the need arises –E.g. Engineering Store staff, Procurement staff, Station Managers, Commercial Team, etc. in consultation with Line Manager.
Qualification, Experience & Skills
- B.Sc. Degree or HND in Accounting
- 3 – 5 years experience in Inventory Management & Control required.
- ACA or other Professional Certification in Inventory Management & Control would be an added advantage
- Aviation Experience would be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be Computer literate.
- Must be a team player.
