Job Title: Entry-level Accountant
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- As the Accountant you are responsible for maintaining financial, accounting and administrative services in order to meet the company’s requirements and support day-to-day operations
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with 0-2 years’ experience of working in a related role
Skills & Knowledge:
- Ability to pay high attention to detail
- High level of initiative
- Ability to work autonomously
- High degree of flexibility and ability to deal with change and a pressured work environment
Typical Responsibilities
- Reconciliation of daily sales activity
- Provide commercial input including revenue generation opportunities, cost reduction, productivity improvement, and other value added initiatives
- Facilitate prompt preparation of all invoices
- Preparation of monthly financial statements and management accounts
- Ensure compliance with company policies, relevant accounting standards and FCM minimum standards for financial systems and processes
