Job Title: Lead Instructor, Mechanical

Locations: Lagos, Ota – Ogun and Port Harcourt – Rivers

Summary of Job Function

• Job involves impacting technical knowledge to skilled and unskilled workers from industrial sector, manufacturing sector, oil and gas sector and telecommunication sector via the use of modern training aids and simulation as well as carrying out engineering services to clients in the Manufacturing, Oil & Gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Mechanical related Training Programmes.
• Develop new Mechanical training programmes.
• Support in development of Mechanical related Proposals.
• Support in-house facility engineer in maintenance of Mechanical workshop and equipment.
• Responsible for Mechanical components, equipment, simulations, software and workshop.
• Participate in technical and Mechanical engineering projects.
• Carry out engineering consulting services for clients.
• Participate in Mechanical related position recruitment activities for clients.
• Facilitate other programs as may be assigned.
• Any other duty as may be assigned.

Qualification / Experience

• B.Sc / B.Eng / HND (Mechanical Engineering).
• Minimum of 10 years experience as Mechanical Engineer or relevant position.
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on training and facilitation experience/ presentation skills.
• Ability to design world-class training materials and trainers.

Job Skills:

• Information technology skill.
• Fast learner in non-skilled areas.
• Computer appreciation – Ms Word, power-point, excel and Ms-Visio.
• Use of design software such as AutoCAD e.t.c
• Ability to facilitate to pass across previous experience.
• Ability to work under pressure and tight reporting schedule.
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively in a team.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Readiness to travel for in-plant trainings.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to carry out Mechanical Engineering related projects.

• Participate in technical and engineering projects.
• Carry out electrical engineering consulting services for clients.
• Design, implement, maintain and improve electrical instrument, equipment, workshop, components, products and systems for facilitating, consulting, industrial and domestic purposes.
• Responsible for electrical equipment, components, simulations, software and workshop.
• Participate in Electrical related position recruitment activities for clients.
• Facilitate other programs as may be assigned.
• Any other duty as may be assigned

Qualification / Experience

• B.Sc / B.Eng / HND (Electrical Electronics Engineering)
• Minimum of 10 years experience in above functions.
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on training and facilitation experience/ presentation skills.
• Ability to design world-class training materials and trainers
• Experience with AC+DC drives, relay logic, PLC troubleshooting and wiring terminations.
• Experience with circuit analysis and preventative maintenance techniques.

Job Title: Senior Instructor, Automation / Instrumentation

Locations: Lagos, Ota – Ogun and Port Harcourt – Rivers

Summary of Job Function

• Job involves providing training services (In-Plant and In-House) for skilled and unskilled individuals in the area of Industrial Automation, Instrumentation and process control, via the use of modern training aids, software, simulators and hands-on equipment, consultancy services and control engineering services to clients in the FMCG, Oil and Gas industries.

Responsibilities

• Developing/updating new instrumentation and process control courses.
• Implementation of calibration training and projects.
• Sourcing for instrumentation and process control projects e.g. procurements, installation, repair, upgrades etc.
• Provide Instrumentation design and automation support for new projects for clients in the FMCG, Oil and Gas Industries.
• Planning and executing project assignments like control panel building, installation, configuration and programming of controller (soft starters, VFDs, PLCs, DCS).
• Lead research and development team in Automation, Instrumentation and Control.
• Building, installing automation & process trainers as well as software to facilitate training programmes.

Qualifications
The Automation/Instrumentation Specialist should possess the following qualifications:

• Automation Lead will have over 6 years skill and competences in Industrial Automation, Instrumentation, Process Control Engineering and must have handled some Engineering Projects.
• B.Sc. / B.Eng. / B.Tech and M.Sc in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or related fields.
• Over 2 years hands-on training and facilitation experience/ presentation experience.
• Ability to design world-class training materials and trainers.
• Must be skilled in practical/ field experience with direct applications of relevant software.
• Minimum of 35 years old.
• Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting (Siemens, Allen brandley etc).
