About the Job

• We are working with a sister company to launch a revolutionary product around investments, savings and pensions. It’s a first of it’s kind and we’re really excited about the prospects that come with it.
• This is an interesting time to join the team and help us achieve the initial MVP. We’re currently looking to hire a react native developer with some rockstar skills and a passion for building products that help makes the life of it’s users easier, do you love building fintech, autonomy and working in a super smart environment with fantastic colleagues? Responsibilities

• Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
• Complete two-week sprints and participate in sprint retrospectives and daily stand-ups.
• Implement clean, modern, smooth animations and transitions that provide an excellent user experience
• Work with modern tools including Jira, Slack, GitHub, Google Docs, etc.
• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.

Qualifications

• 2 – 3 years of professional experience working with React Native.
• An understanding of React Native best practices and a commitment to following them.
• Forensic attention to detail.
• Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage
• Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming
• Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle {{Android Studio, IntelliJ}}
• Firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax
• Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of React Native applications.
• Experience with automated testing suites, like Jest or Mocha
• A positive mindset and can-do attitude.
