Greatland Farm was established due to the need to fill the gap in the rising population and the need to feed the growing population while also contributing to Nigeria’s food basket through the production and distribution of eggs and meat with plans to increase capacity to other areas of animal husbandry.

Our farms boast of seasoned professionals and our strong collaboration with experienced global giants in the areas of chick hatchery, eggs and broiler production using state of the art equipment to serve the growing local demand for meat and protein and also helping in zero dependence on imported poultry produce.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Breeder Birds Supervisor

Location: Ogun

Job Description

  • Ensuring birds are fed at the stipulated times
  • Adherence to a safe working environment practice and reporting on farm operations.
  • Ensuring performance, quality, animal welfare and cost objectives are achieved
  • General maintenanceof all aspects of the farm.
  • Ensuring all aspects of running the farm are met
  • Ensuring welfare of livestockand monitor farm conditions.
  • Production performance& record keeping
  • Monitors and ensures that the adjustments ofventilation, drinkers, feeders, dead bird disposal and lightingadheres to agreed best practices and standards.
  • Monitors male spiking, fertility, hatchability, culling, and production percent.
  • Monitors and track egg production& quality
  • Adhere strictly to bio security measures & ensure high standards of safety, cleanliness, and maintenance on attendants
  • Monitor pullet and breeder flock health and adherence to blood testing procedures.
  • Maintain pullet growing agreements and breeder flock agreements.
  • Report farm issues to the Farm Manageras needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.
