Job Description
- Come join Arnergy’s Marketing team and help improve distributed energy reliability to businesses and homes in Nigeria.
- As our Digital Channel Specialist and a key member of the Marketing team, you will be responsible for managing the social media platforms, blog, long-form opinion pieces, scripts, creating digital ads, On-page & Off-page SEO, managing digital marketing ads accounts, and related marketing materials.
- We are looking for an experienced SEO and Digital Marketer (SEM/SEO/PPC expert) with 4+ years of professional experience sourcing, researching trending topics, and working closely with the other members of the marketing team to brainstorm, create concepts, and develop messaging.
You’ll focus on:
- Developing, implementing, and managing our social media strategy and promotions
- Developing and managing social media content calendars and accounts.
- Creating digital ads and social media promotions.
- Measuring the success of every social media and digital campaign and sharing reports
- Staying up to date with the latest social media and digital best practices, trends, and technologies.
- Responding to enquiries or complaints on all social platforms
- Working with other members of the team to ensure content is informative and appealing.
- Creatively coming up with copies that tie the brand offering with international calendar days
- Monitoring SEO and user engagement and optimizing the content accordingly.
- Creating activities for the organisation’s website and managing all companies digital channels
- Creating a content marketing calendar to ensure regular content on social media throughout the year.
- Writing entertaining and informative search engine optimised copy and advertising copies.
- Write compelling and high-quality website content, including blog posts, meta tags, and page descriptions
- Update content and website links for maximum optimization and search engine rankings
- Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
- Research and analyze competitor advertising links
- Developing creative, informative scripts and storyboards (audio & video) that promotes the brand and the products
- Setting target keywords alongside the marketing manager and base articles around them.
- Keeping up to date with industry best practices and monitoring content activities of competitor websites / social pages.
- Assisting the team and other units with ad-hoc copywriting when the need arises.
- Repurposing content for different mediums including social media and video.
- Tracking conversion rates for content developed and published on all platforms, then making adjustments where necessary.
- Develop optimization strategies that increase the company’s search engine results rankings
- Research SEO keywords to use throughout the company’s website and marketing materials
- Monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance
- Efficiently communicate with other marketing professionals to align goals
- Collaborate with others within the marketing team to manage SEO strategy
- Develop and implement link building strategy
- Work with marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
- Fully understand the operations of the Product, Content, and Marketing strategy in order to determine the key drivers of performance.
- Preparing digital and offline marketing campaigns across channels with the objective to create brand awareness, top-of-mind brand recall, and customer acquisition.
- Managing digital budgets, and efficient coordination of marketing campaigns.
- Coordinating marketing campaigns with promotional activities. Ensure the campaigns are in line with the objectives, making tweaks and optimizations as they progress.
- Implement Retention Plans through E-mail, SMS, and other relevant channels.
- Assist in designing and building campaign mailers, SMS, Inbox, Email and Push Notifications
Requirement and Skills
You’ll be a good fit for this role if you have/are:
- A University Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, IT, English, Digital Marketing, Journalism, Linguistics, or Business-related Degree.
- Previous experience working as a content executive, SEO specialist, digital marketing executive, copywriter in an agency would be an advantage.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in planning and implementing successful SEO / SEM strategies and internet ranking for web content.
- Deep familiarity with popular social media platforms: YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tik Tok etc.
- A thorough understanding of social media management and strategy and excellent knowledge of social media marketing tools
- Highly creative and imaginative with strong research skills
- Knowledge of how best to position content, regardless of the platform
- Working knowledge of WordPress and other content management systems to optimize blog content, and execute SEO (on-page and off-page) strategies to drive online traffic to the company website.
- Creative and passionate about writing with an organised and time-sensitive approach to your work.
- The ability to produce creative write-ups (sometimes witty) and jump on online trends with very creative copies within tight deadlines is essential.
- Highly articulate with an excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Creative-minded with an ability to conceive interesting ideas for new content.
- Excellent storytelling skills with a digital-trained background.
- An excellent communicator, organized, and a great team player.
- An attribute of grit, compliance-oriented, and good interpersonal skills
- Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods
- Experienced with SEO industry programs and digital tools, such as Google Ads, Analytics, Keyword Planner, or Adobe Analytics
- Knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools
- Able to complete competitive analysis of other companies within the industry
- Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data on a daily basis
- Understand Corporate branding, strategy, and communication
- Be responsible for setting up the process and maintaining Google/FB/DSP ads accounts.
- Build and launch advertising campaigns. Launch variations of ads to determine the best performing through A|B testing and continuously monitor results and improve ads.
- Monitor and optimize campaign performance by clearly reporting results, trends, problems, and opportunities.
- Evaluate analytics to ensure ROI goals are met for every campaign.
- Identify trends and insights to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns.
- Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations on campaign performance.
- Develop and recommend revisions on content initiatives, website content and implement relevant SEO keywords on website content to maximize relevant organic growth.
- Develop optimization strategies that increase the company’s search engine results rankings
- Research SEO keywords to use throughout the company’s website and marketing materials
- Any other task assigned.
