Greatland Farm was established due to the need to fill the gap in the rising population and the need to feed the growing population while also contributing to Nigeria’s food basket through the production and distribution of eggs and meat with plans to increase capacity to other areas of animal husbandry.

Our farms boast of seasoned professionals and our strong collaboration with experienced global giants in the areas of chick hatchery, eggs and broiler production using state of the art equipment to serve the growing local demand for meat and protein and also helping in zero dependence on imported poultry produce.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HR / Admin Officer

Location: Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Human Resources Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintaining HR records, such as those related to compensation, Pension and HMO.
  • Managing workplace safety issues.
  • Employee onboarding.
  • Communicating and explaining the organization’s HR policies to employees
  • Liaising with all government agencies to ensure adherence to compliance
  • Recording, maintaining and monitoring attendance to ensure employee punctuality
  • Conducting employee orientation and facilitating newcomers joining formalities
  • Maintaining and regularly updating master database (Staff file, database, etc.) of each employee.
  • Resolving grievances or queries that any of the employees have
  • Escalating to the right level depending on the nature of the grievance or issue
  • Preparing letters such as offer, confirmation and letters to third parties organization

Admin Duties and Responsibilities

  • Organize a filing system for important and confidential company documents
  • Maintain a company calendar and schedule appointment.
  • Distribute and store correspondence (e.g. letters, emails and packages)
  • Maintain the organization’s filling system.
  • Take accurate minutes of meetings and disseminate to all stakeholders
  • Coordinate repairs and servicing of office equipment like laptops, phones, Power generating set, plumbing works, electrical and other building maintenance.
  • Supervise the cleaners and ensure all areas are clean and ensure routine general cleaning is done as per agreed schedule/
  • Submit and reconcile expense accounts.

General:

  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing tasks in an efficient, professional and effective manner.
  • Ensure timelines assigned for tasks are always met and challenges that may impact deliverables and agreed timelines are reported.
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualification.
  • 1 – 3 years work experience.
