Job Title: Local Development Planning Assistant / Officer
Location: Abuja (FCT) / Bauchi

Job Description
Task 1:
- Participate in cross-functional teams to initiate, plan and prepare WASH Master Plans
- Train local officers and facilitate investment planning and priority setting
- Organize/attend meetings – webinars, workshops, conferences – and write reports
- Manage projects – coordinate project teams, accounts and administrative/logistic functions.

- Discreet and with a high sense of value
- Enjoys being on the road
Requirements
Must have skills:
- A B.Sc in Geography, Settlement Planning, Sanitation Engineering and related fields.
- An MSc will be an advantage.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Graphics design knowledge is an advantage
- Highly skilled with numbers and can crunch data
- Very strong oral and written communication skills including writing proposals and reports
- Experience of desk / literature research, and field surveys
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- A fair knowledge of accounting would be an advantage
- A flexible, adaptable and professional approach to work.
