We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Clearing Clerk

Location: Lagos

Roles and Responsibilities

• We seek applications from qualified and suitable candidates for the positions of Clearing Documentation Officer.
• Preparation of clients duties to determine amount to be paid by clients.
• To process and collect delivery order from shipping companies.
• To ensure that rating on clients consignments for the terminals and shipping companies charges are determined
• To obtain TDO (Terminal Delivery Order)
• Arrangement for good trucks to deliver clients consignments as per managements
• Do a comprehensive follow up on clients consignments from the Port and making sure the content are deliver safely according to the instruction of the Sea Freight manager.
• Collecting of SONCAP and NAFDAC documents from the documentation department for stamping at their various offices.
• Act as an intermediary between the Documentation department and the clearing officer by collecting clearing documents.
• Allocates documents to clearing officers to be used in carrying out the clearing process.

Education / Experience / Requirements

• Minimum of OND in any relevant course
• Minimum of one year experience in logistics, clearing and forwarding company.
• Proven experience in engaging customs.
• Proven experience as a Clearing clerk.
