Job Title: Field Sales / Service Engineer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Responsible for achieving company sales goals by focusing on the management of existing customers, development of new opportunities, furthering strategic markets, and developing strong and rewarding internal and external customer relationship.
• Responsible for the timely, safe, cost-effective achievement of Power, Gas Turbine and other Rotating Equipment reliability and availability targets as directed by maintenance policy & strategy and in line with applicable industry standards, codes and best practices.
• Provide specialist technical support to the maintenance teams as well as other departments appertaining to Power, Gas turbine and Rotating Equipment maintenance and operations

Academic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering or its equivalent in any discipline.
• Master’s degree is an added advantage.

Experience:

• 7 years of experience in power, turbine, and other rotating equipment sales/service role.
• At least, 3 years exposure in workshop/depot activities (repair and overhaul of Gas Turbines)
• Experience in working within the Oil & Gas Sector will be considered an important advantage.
• Prior work experience showing increasing levels of responsibility with a focus on operations in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in Microsoft O365 suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Specific experience on Aero-derivative gas turbines is a MUST.
• Good troubleshooting & Analytical capabilities.
• Good knowledge & experience in various NDT & condition monitoring techniques (vibration survey/ analysis, tribology, etc…)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good knowledge of Project Management skills.
