Field Service Technician (Parking) at Complete Parking Services Limited

Complete Parking Services (CPS) Limited the leading professional parking company in the nation. We are also Independent Parking Advisors to companies and organizations who own, manage, control or operate off-street car parks including providing valet parking services.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Field Service Technician (Parking)

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical service of automated parking systems; provide timely notification of problems.
• Technological knowledge in computer repairs, parking access control repairs and installations.
• Assist with project set-up, installation, and customer training.
• devices and tools to provide better system solutions and installation and troubleshooting efficiency.
• Follow and enforce all OSH safety practices.
• Complete PCI checklist when servicing applicable service issues.
• Ensure that work orders are detailed, completed per work order SOP and “signed-off” by the client prior to leaving the worksite.
• Ensure work area is maintained and well organized.
• Generate service tickets as needed and follow up with support until the issues is resolved.
• Provide On-Call after-hours and weekend emergency service as required by our customers.
• Provide effective communication that creates a collaborative environment with all parties concerned.
• Work overtime as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.

Work Environment Requirements

• Candidates should possess a B.Eng / B.Tech / OND / HND qualification with 1 – 3 years work experience.
• Able to work outdoors in all climates and conditions as needed.
• Lift and/or move in excess of 50 lbs on a regular basis and up to 100 lbs on occasion.
• At times, this position will require kneeling, bending and working on ladders.
• Able to work with hand and power tools as needed.
• Must reside on the Island.
• Must be flexible and ready to teamwork.
