Job Title: General Manager – Business Development and Sales

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Objectives

  • Creating and implementing new strategic sales plan that expand a real estate company’s Limited customer base and ensure its strong presence; while managing recruiting, setting objectives, conducting Site Management, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
  • The job holder would be responsible for leading various departments to achieve corporate goals based on marketing and customer relation standards in the real estate industry while establishing our company as the preferred real estate company within her market area.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Chief Managing Director to develop and implement sales vision, strategies/plan, models and policies.
  • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit.
  • Collate and ensure timely submission of Sales activities and performance reports and other intelligence that is essential in achieving the organizational sales target
  • Competitive market intelligence, research and analysis.
  • Manage sales cost within approved budget
  • Contribute to the development of new products and services, based on customer feedback.
  • Conduct review of Sales and Marketing Process & Procedures to ensure that all team members’ actions are carried out in accordance to best practices.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members to achieve the overall team objectives.
  • Maintain professional knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.
  • Providing innovative backup to Managing Director on Sales and Relationship matters.
  • Keep up-to-date on current and future industry trends
  • As part of a wider team, you will also participate in cross functional projects such as New Products /Solution Design and Development as well as achieving key organizational business milestones..
  • Responsible for cascading the departmental objectives into task and Key performance indicators for the associates while also conducting appraisals when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular coaching of associates to build motivation and customer relation skills.
  • Providing Managerial support to the Managing Director and other team members.
  • Maintain good customer relationship.
  • Deliver reports and progress to the Managing Director on regular basis including statistical analysis and improvement of action plan.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess a Master’s Degree with 7 – 10 years relevant work experience.
  • Cognate experience in managerial roles within the real estate sector.
