Job Title: Junior Software Developer
Location: Lagos
Job Purpose
- The role of a software developer engages in identifying, designing, installing and testing a software system they have built for a company from the ground up.
- It can range from creating internal programmes that can help businesses be more efficient to producing systems that can be sold on the open market.
Responsibilities
- Work with developers to design algorithms and flowcharts.
- Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications.
- Integrate software components and third-party programs.
- Verify and deploy programs and systems.
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.
- Gather and evaluate user feedback.
- Recommend and execute improvements.
- Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.
Academic Qualification
- B.Sc / BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
Professional Qualification:
- PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
Experience:
- 2 – 3 year experience.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- An understanding of the latest trends and their role in a commercial environment.
- Self-development skills to keep up to date with fast-changing trends.
- Computer programming and coding.
- Software development.
- Object-oriented design (OOD).
