Job Title: Cashier
Locations: Victoria Island and Ikoyi, Lagos
Job Description
- Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
- Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
- Collect payments whether in cash and other approved forms
- Issue receipts, refunds, changes or tickets
- Redeem stamps and coupons
- Cross-sell products and introduce new ones
- Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
- Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas.
- Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess an OND / HND / BSc qualification.
- Minimum of 1 year experience.
- Must have knowledge of Omega and Ipratico Softwares.
- Basic calculation skills
- Ability to use a personal computer knowledge
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent time-management skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
- Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude
- Must be able to work in the early morning and late-night shifts
- Attention to detail.
