Job Title: Frontend Developer

Job Description

• We are looking for a Front-End developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming.
• Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application.

Responsibilities

• Determining the structure and design of web pages.
• Ensuring user experience determines design choices.
• Developing features to enhance the user experience.
• Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design.
• Ensuring web design is optimized for smartphones.
• Building reusable code for future use.
• Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
• Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages.
• Collaborate with other developers and contribute to building shared standards, tools, and approaches.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or related field with 2 – 3 years work experience.
• Understanding of key design principles.
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of React (added advantage)
• Understanding of server-side CSS.
• Experience with graphic design applications such as Adobe Illustrator.
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
• Understanding of SEO principles.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Can work with modern web stacks (transpilers, linters, build and CI tools, etc.).
• Can build maintainable, scalable, and well-structured semantic HTML/CSS and JavaScript (vanilla JS, ES6).
• Can write and maintain unit and integration tests.

Salary
N120,000 monthly.
