Job Title: Tax Accountant

Location: Jos, Plateau
Function: Finance
Reports To: Financial Controller

Purpose of Job

  • Ensuring the company meets and complies with regulatory and statutory obligations as and when due, thereby, ensuring good corporate governance.

Key Accountabilities

  • Prepare tax payments
  • Estimate and track tax returns
  • Complete monthly, quarterly and annual tax reports
  • Organise and update the company’s database
  • Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals
  • Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns
  • Share financial data with the Accounting department
  • Processing monthly Pension remittances and resolution of pension matters
  • Processing TCC for the company
  • Reconciliation of various tax ledgers
  • Identify tax savings and suggest ways to increase profits
  • Follow industry trends and tracks changes related to taxes
  • Liaise with internal and external Auditors
  • Forecast tax predictions to senior managers
  • Any others task as assigned by the Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer.

Requirements

  • Minimum of B.Sc qualification in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
  • Industry certification (e.g. ACA, ACCA e.t.c) is essential and compulsory.
  • Minimum of 3 years post qualification cognate experience is essential.

Job Title: Market Research and Insights Manager

Location: Jos, Plateau
Function: Commercial
Reports To: Commercial Director

Purpose of Job

  • Responsible for selecting the appropriate research methodology and supporting techniques to meet a defined business objective. The Research Manager develops or assists in the development of the research instrument and works closely with vendors or Market Research Project Directors in ensuring the successful execution of the fieldwork.

Key Accountabilities

  • Investigate market conditions, determine opportunities and create corresponding solutions to customer concerns.
  • Select the most appropriate research methodology and techniques
  • Design qualitative and quantitative research plans for products in all stages of the Product Life Cycle
  • Interpret data, writing reports and making actionable recommendations
  • Interface between Market Research and Business Analytics to synthesize internal database information.
  • Display commitment to high quality, cost effective and timely research.
  • Coordinate with Marketing Division staff to design and evaluate marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and execute customer opinion studies and quantitative and qualitative market research studies.
  • Perform market segmentation research and develop customer engagement strategies.

  • Develop sampling plans and perform statistical analysis on time series regression.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Business, Mathematics, or the Sciences
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years within the custom Market Research industry
  • Academic and practical experience with a wide array of new product, brand, advertising and customer satisfaction research methodologies

Job Title: Digital Marketing Executive

Location: Lagos
Function: Commercial
Reports To: Head of Marketing

Purpose of Job

  • Leads the strategic direction, development and implementation of technology driven i-Marketing activations and implementation, in co-ordination with the marketing teams across the territory.
  • The focus will be to drive innovative ways to engage our consumers and build digital capabilities in the area of external operations for all the activated brands with the support of suppliers (web and content generators) and partners (other technology or media companies to increase brand connections). 

Key Accountabilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop, implement and evolve the digital strategy to support achievement of brand (s) volume, value, market share, distribution and equity objectives/ targets as agreed with Head Marketing.
  • Strategic development of I-marketing initiatives for portfolio of all required brands
  • Lead the development of the social connections strategy that is fully integrated with Core Creative Ideas across Owned/Earned/Shared/Paid connections to deliver brand objectives while deriving greater impact from our advertising and integrated communication efforts for core or development brands.
  • Provide input into marketing plans by developing the digital roadmap as part of the Annual Business plans. Create Strategic implementation framework. Input into brand briefs.
  • Supervise implementation and localization of projects across the territory (web, social, mobile, search, E-commerce, other), Handles the Connections Planning/Media.
  • Manage Digital & Media budgets efficiently and effectively delivering long-term sustainable competitive advantage at lowest possible costs (annual negotiations); benchmarking to measure competitive advantage on an on-going basis; and developing strong relationships with key social agencies
  • Regular interactions and recommendations provided to marketing teams on campaign ideas and execution.
  • Ensure Agencies drive amplification of CCI (Core Creative Idea) on assigned I-Marketing projects
  • Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Ensure that Project Reports & Dashboards are delivered on time for all key brands with comprehensive narratives, learning and implications.

  • Ensure excellence in brand execution across all activation levers (across channels, including e-commerce) partnering with key commercial stakeholders and collaborating with agencies and other vendor partners.
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.
  • Monitor campaign results within the relevant tools (Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, DV360 etc.), suggest optimizations and challenge media managers & agencies to deliver high-quality media placements at efficient cost
  • Development of dashboards to monitor data-driven marketing campaigns & media best practices and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices, research competitors, provide suggestions for improvement and thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

Requirements

  • A First Degree in any field of study.

Job Title: Consumer Nutrition Manager

Reports To: Head of Innovation and Product Assurance

Purpose of Job

  • Responsible for the research and development of innovative nutritional product formulations to optimize existing product lines and for new product development.

Key Accountabilities

  • Keep updated with scientific literature in Nutrition Science.
  • Engage with dietitians and the general public to educate and familiarize them with our products.
  • Responsible for developing nutritional products for commercial launch by creating formulations which deliver improvements to current products, reduction in product cost and/or comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Understand the competitive landscape by knowing the competitors’ products, ingredients, features, and benefits.
  • Develop and maintain thorough records of potential ingredients, suppliers, literature, and research surrounding our product/ingredients and their efficacy in our target markets.
  • Maintain technical and experimental documentation throughout the research and development process, including product specifications, CoAs, various documentation, research papers and literature surrounding our potential ingredients, and suppliers.
  • Take a leadership role in our product development process and be able to work independently in a small team.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Nutrition or related discipline is required.
  • Currently registered or chartered and practicing.
  • Minimum of 15 years working experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environment with at least 5 years at mid to senior level.
  • Six Sigma Certification will be an added advantage

Knowledge, Skills & Attitude:

  • Working knowledge of Food Safety, HCCP and ISO9001 are required.
  • Have a strong understanding of Health/Wellness Promotion.
  • Have a strong knowledge base of plant-based nutrition.

Job Title: Fitter / Machinist

Function: Engineering
Reports To: Workshop Supervisor

Purpose of Job

  • The Fitter/Machinist would be responsible for the fabrication and machining of some necessary machine parts when the need arises.

Key Accountabilities

  • To fabricate or reproduce spare parts for the machines.
  • Assist the machine technicians in the maintenance and repairs of machines.
  • To ensure that all working machine parts are in good working condition.
  • To ensure that the workshop and machines are properly cleaned at all times.
  • Shall understand and practice Company’s safety requirements.
  • Any other duty related to maintenance tasks.

  • A.S.S.C.E Tech, advanced NABTEB, Federal Ministry of Labor Trade Test Stage II & I.
