Job Description
- We are looking for a persuasive and competitive Sales Representative to join New Image subsidiary based in Ikoyi, Lagos. The successful applicant will be responsible for persuading potential customers to purchase company products, identifying prospective business opportunities for the company, educate direct / indirect consumers, increasing product awareness, answer queries, provide advice, introducing new products, and providing the relevant departments with customer feedback by executing the company’s business strategy.
- A positive attitude and punctuality are paramount as the successful applicant will be required to work independently when the Country Manager is on promotional tours. The candidate will be reporting to the Country Manager
Duties & Responsibilities
- Demonstrating, presenting, or selling the company’s products to corporate entities, private individuals, doctors, and relevant healthcare professionals.
- Scheduling and arranging appointments with doctors, pharmacists, hospital medical teams, and other healthcare professionals, which may include pre-arranged appointments or regular ‘cold’ calling to promote company products.
- Develop and manage social media campaign and looking into promoting online marketing strategies in accordance with the New Image business & marketing strategy
- Attending and organizing sales meetings, conference calls, training sessions and seminars and support efforts and goals of regional sales activities
- Keeping up to date with the latest medical and health data supplied by the company, and interpreting, presenting, and discussing this data with customer segments during presentations
- Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend New Image products
- Maintain knowledge of and follow company procedures and policies regarding pricing, deliveries, sales terms, forecasts, and customer records
- Provide the Country Manager with monthly territory reports, expense reports, Sales Operations Plan (SOP) monthly reports.
Qualification Requirements
- Preferably a Degree in Food & Health Sciences but not essential
- Previous experience in nursing or healthcare is an advantage
- Track record in sales or marketing of health supplements
- Experience working in a customer-facing environment is an advantage
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Words)
- Familiarity with databases, statistics, product lines, and latest medical issues
Soft Skills:
- Confidence, determination, persistence, and zeal to learn.
- Planning, analytical, and organizational skills
- A flexible approach to work to adapt to changes
- General IT and administration skills.
- Must be willing, dedicated and success oriented.
- Should be punctual, loyal, smart, and honest.
- Should acquire basic knowledge of health and nutritional supplements market.
- Proficiency in English language.
- Excellent spoken and written communication, negotiation, and sales skills
- Should have problem-solving skills
- Ability to build-up relationship with new & existing customers
- Ability to explore new opportunities
- Knowledge of local culture & language would be an added advantage

Remuneration
- Salary: N70,000.00 – N100,000.00 per month
- Competitive Market Rate(including commission-based earnings and bonuses)
