Job Summary
- The Technical Officer will provide technical and professional services for solving myriads of the difficult problems faced by our clients and have fun while making the world a better place one day at a time.
- The Associate will conduct high-quality analysis to help solve difficult development problems by applying cutting-edge knowledge and research tools to produce insightful solutions.
- The ideal candidate will be a curious person interested in learning how the world works and leveraging that understanding to make a global impact.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct research (quantitative and qualitative) and analysis on various subject matter related to the clients’ business using a mix of available online resources and proprietary data, identify gaps, inconsistencies, or conflicts and recommend pragmatic solutions.
- Prepare reports, presentations, proposals, manuscripts and other knowledge materials as required.
- Design guidelines, standard operating procedures etc. in line with legislation and client requirements.
- Contribute to ongoing projects, new project development, draft grant proposals, engage with partners and funders, work with sub-contractors and consultants and ensure the timely completion of deliverables.
- Contribute towards the firm’s strategic business plan, annual work planning, annual budgets, training plans and quarterly reports and other required technical reports
- Attend conferences, workshops and other meetings relevant to the activities of the organization and make reports on insights and imperatives for the organization.
- Develop own capacity and support capacity development activities for other staff.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements for the Role
The ideal candidate should have all or most of the following attributes and qualifications:
- Possess a Master’s Degree in Social Sciences or related field and First Degree (B.Sc, HND) in any field of study.
- 3 years of work experience.
- Show willingness to learn new skills and commitment to exceptional delivery
- Curious, innovative and creative
- Strong research and analytical skills, ability to synthesize complex issues into audience-appropriate policy options
- Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting and re-purposing research for policymakers
- Possess exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Should be comfortable with using a computer for various tasks.
- Be very proficient with the use of information technology productivity tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and social media
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, flexible and adaptable, with great follow-up skills.
- Abilities to set priorities, multi-task, work and deliver independently with some supervision.

- Strong strategic thinking and reasoning skills
- Effective communications skills (written and verbal)

Salary / Remuneration
- N120,000 – N200,000 monthly.
- The successful candidate will be paid a competitive salary and allowances based on experience, education and skills in line with industry standards.
