Job Title: Backend Developer – NodeJs
Location: Lagos

Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
- Write efficient, quality, tested code using industry best practices
- Contribute to technical roadmaps, design, and implementation within a team of high performing engineers
- Partner with engineering, product management, and design teams to develop and refine new features
- Contribute to code quality and maintainability by writing unit and integration tests
- Leverage modern architectural patterns and third-party libraries to deliver new features
- Build reusable code and libraries to be used for future developments
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of professional experience
- Highly proficient in Javascript, NodeJs and NestJs
- Working knowledge of Database systems – MySql, Postgresql, Mongodb
- Experience with PHP Laravel is a plus
- Analytical, organized and high attention to detail
- Appreciation for clean and well-documented code
- Sound understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and Design Patterns
- Curious and self-researching about new technologies.
- First hand experience with larger codebases (hundreds of components+) and how to best architect them to scale
- Experience with CI/CD, Git workflows, Bitbucket pipelines and Agile principles. Experience with Docker and AWS infrastructure is a plus
Salary
- N350,000 – N450,000 monthly.
