Job Title: Lead Back-end developer
Job Description / Requirements
We are looking for a Lead Backend Developer – SDK/NodeJS/TypeScript, who can help Mustard Stone to achieve the very highest standards in code quality, performance and security. You will motivate and provide expert technology advices to widen the propositions in a fast-paced agile programming process.

Skill Requirements
- Backend Experience with SDK / Node.js / Express.
- Strong programming skills in Javascript/TypeScript, Python or Go is a plus
- Hands-on experience in API development and frameworks such as Express, Loopback, Hapi
- Must have worked extensively with Relational Database Systems (MySQL, Postgres, etc) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc)
- Excellent knowledge of matters involving REST API and WebSockets, write unit testing using the Jest framework and managing discussions and queries with our products
- Must have significant experience working with Git for version control and a good grasp of various git-flows.
- Extensive knowledge on data abstraction is a must.
- Understanding of basic cloud computing concepts and experience in using any of the major cloud service providers(AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Must have designed, built, scaled, and maintained large-scale production services and know-how to compose a service-oriented architecture.
- Vast experience working on high-performance, aggressive-load web services.
- Articulate a long-term vision for maintaining and scaling our backend systems
Other Requirements
- Knowledge of blockchain technology, smart contracts and cryptocurrency and having worked in a fintech domain will be an added advantage
- You have experience driving technical projects, prioritising work, identifying • dependencies, facilitating technical decisions, and cross-functional team discussions.
- You’re comfortable collaborating closely with product managers, product owners, and stakeholders, providing estimates or product ideas that will influence your team’s roadmap.
