Job Title: Business Manager and Executive Assistant (EA) to the CEO

Job Description
- The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all matters business, a competent leader able to provide guidance that enhances performance in a manner which incorporates the company’s vision and culture.
Position Specifications
Personal Support to the CEO:
- Administrative, secretarial and diary support for the CEO
- Provide full PA service, including diary management, arranging appointments, dealing with/responding to e-mails, preparing correspondence, dealing with expenses claims.
Operational Planning:
- Support the CEO in producing and monitoring the operational plan.
- Develop business management goals and objectives that tend to growth and prosperity
- Design and implement business plans and strategies to promote the attainment of goals.
Tracking and supporting new business opportunities:
- Manage and report the pipeline of opportunities and new business
- Track progress of bids and tenders – work with leads to bring tender requests to the Organisation
- With the support of colleagues from finance – prepare high quality and accurately costed proposals and tender responses, coordinate tender production and submission process.
- Develop business management goals and objectives that tend to growth
- Design and implement business plans and strategies to promote the attainment of goals.
Tracking core projects:
- Manage and report on the pipeline of core project and productions
- Track progress of current projects against agreed project milestones including review and publications deadlines
- Perform multi-faceted general office support
- Assess overall all company performance against objectives
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Knowledge and experience of project management principles
- Numerate with an ability to use spreadsheets to present data
- Able to work with minimal supervision or support and use initiative to tackle challenges constructively and find creative ways forward
- Able to relate to key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
Qualifications
- A First Degree in Business Management, Economics, Law
- MBA / M.Sc desirable
- Four (4) or more years relevant experience
- Good knowledge using accounting software and inventory management
- Strong computer skills, MS Excel (managing spreadsheets, creating charts, and using advanced formulas)
- Proven experience as business manager or EA to the CEO
- Relevant Experience in the Oil and Gas industry
- Knowledge and experience of contract negotiation
- Experience in business development.
