Job Title: Remote SEO Specialist

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

• Shape and own our strategy and approach to app store optimisation internationally, across the App Store and Google Play Store.
• Own our ASO roadmap, managing all aspects of store testing
• Produce clear and actionable briefs for design, copy and localisation teams to test and maintain our app store listings
• Ensure the wider team and business understands the role of ASO in our growth marketing, working with the I&A team to enable the visibility of ASO performance
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams on app store-related growth and learning experience initiatives
• Own our ASO tool-stack, including rank and performance monitoring and reporting processes
• Monitor the ASO landscape and competitor activity to identify opportunities and challenges.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / HND qualification with 2 – 5 years work experience.
• Strong experience in a similar role with technical SEO as a key area of focus
• Expert level of technical SEO knowledge
• Experience devising and delivering technical SEO strategies and recommendations
• Knowledge and experience of technical SEO, including: on-page markup, URL structure & site architecture, redirect strategies, structured mark-up such as Schema.org, XML Sitemaps, local, mobile, and search engine algorithms
• In-depth familiarity with Google Search Console
• Experience with website crawling tools such as Screaming Frog and/or DeepCrawl
• Hands on experience with Google Analytics
• Experience with Python for automation or tool creation
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
• Ability to manage relationships with tact and diplomacy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Salary
N400,000 – N500,000 / month.
