Job Title: Relationship Manager – Embassies, Multilateral & Developmental Organisations

Job Description
Candidate’s Profile:
- We are looking for a candidate with good relationship/marketing skills. Our ideal candidate must have minimum of 3 years relationship management and corresponding banking experience.
Job Objective (s)
- To work with the other stakeholders within the bank in implementing strategies for breaking into new emerging EMDO markets across Africa and establishing mutually beneficial and strategic partnerships between the UBA Group and International Development Organisations.
- To ultimately forge strong bilateral relationships between both countries as well as create other mutually beneficial collaborations at large.
Responsibilities
- Conversions of new EMDO mandates, management of existing relationships and retention of business.
- Prepare marketing plans and strategies to achieve the objective of the unit which is to grow the EMDO relationships in the bank.
- Development of detailed EMDO marketing materials for multilaterals, embassies, International and local NGOs.
- Implementation of call plan, engagement plan and required sponsorships
- Development of detailed EMDO marketing materials for multilaterals, embassies, International and local NGOs.
- Participate actively through desk research and follow-up emails, phone calls, text messages etc. in sourcing for new relationships
- Participation in RFPs, bids, tenders and other assignments.
Qualifications
- First Degree Social Science and Management Science
- 3-5 years in relationship banking, marketing and correspondent banking.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
- Bank product/service knowledge
- Industry / regulatory knowledge
- Banking operations knowledge
- Result-oriented, self-motivated
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent relationship management / communication skills
- Good communication skills (Oral & Written).
