Job Title: Assistant Fashion Designer
Location: Lagos

Responsibilities
- Draping of Proposed Designs
- Sketching of designs and its details.
- Research and create New Design using various fabrics
- Research for trims & Accessories to fit proposed designs
- Ensure to ascertain availability of raw materials to use for each specific design created
- Efficient in picking fabrics, colors, combinations and designs for production.
- Creative usage of fabric left overs to reduce wastage.
- Liaise with raw material and external vendors on accessories to be created for outfits produced.
- Has a vast experience of different fabrics and their special intricacies as it applies to designing most especially for female wear (male wear is an added advantage).
- Understand bridal wears concepts and its construction.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / HND qualification
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Superior knowledge of fashion design principles
- Excellent creativity with a good sense of fashion and style
- In-depth knowledge of garment technology
- Ability to create, cut and sew-up patterns
- Proficiency in computer-aided fashion design applications and digital visualization tools
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
Salary
N60,000 – N90,000 monthly.
