Job Title: Enterprise Cloud Technical Sales Engineer
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Purpose
- You will work with sales and cross-functional teams to introduce the company cloud services on a technical level to interested customers by providing support and technical expertise throughout the entire sales cycle.
- You will also be required to solve problems on critical technical issues for our customers in order to grow the revenue of our enterprise market.
- You will also be responsible for increasing the building of strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding the needs of existing and prospective customers who need a cloud solution and assisting in convincing them of our value offerings to transform their businesses.
Job Duties
- Provide support and technical expertise from pre-sales, to value proposition, to actual sales, to post-sales support, including on-site field support.
- Build and maintain close relationships at all levels of customer organizations, striving to become a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on Whogohost’s products and services.
- Meet with customers over the phone, email, or on-site to assist in all aspects of business development.
- Deliver technical customer presentations to demonstrate Whogohost’s differentiated solutions at customer meetings, customer training sessions, conferences and seminars.
- Attend and/or participate in trade shows, conferences, and company sponsored events with minimal notice.
- Collaborate with team members and other cross-functional teams to solve customer problems, document best practices to improve overall performance and prioritize solutions impacting customer adoption to the cloud environment of their choice.
- Maintain records of customer visits and interactions.
- Provide expertise to support the technical relationship with the existing Enterprise customers.
- Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, key customer objections and develop a strategy to resolve technical barriers.
- Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution, using the best practices, on any of the Cloud platforms the company operates.
- Create and develop Proofs of Concept (POCs), technical presentations, and demos that is compelling and informative by highlighting the value of the company’s products with a clear plan to take a prospect successfully through the evaluation process and make them satisfied customers.
- Support the research and development of new enterprise products and services.
- Drive business growth by providing technical support for our enterprise products & services to existing customers.
- Support the achievement of the team sales and company revenue targets
- Meet performance standards set by the department
- Understand customer requirements and product capabilities of a business and technical level to effectively communicate the unique benefits of our cloud solutions and appropriately set expectations;
- Educate customers on business practices and any associated contractual implications.
- Respond promptly to customer technical support requests.
- Pursue continuing education on new solutions, technology, and skills to improve the company’s sales goals and for personal development
- Analyze and investigate product and service complaints by enterprise clients to ensure closure and customer satisfaction.
Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience with infrastructure architecture including storage, compute, database, and networking.
- Ability to learn quickly, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT Technology space.
- Prior experience in B2B or cloud sales.
- Minimum of 1-year technical experience or technical background required.
- Experience working with collaboration technology.
- Effective relationship building/growing skills, with the ability to deliver results simultaneously in a cross-functional environment.
- Has knowledge of market needs, competition, and the latest industry news and trends.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to plan, pitch, and execute strategies.
- Ability to work independently & a team player
- Must have a working laptop
- Must be able to work remotely and on-site.
