Saroafrica is set to become a leading consumer, manufacturing, FMCG and integrated agricultural value chain group. Job Title: Marketing Officer
Locations: Abuja (FCT), Edo, Ekiti, Benue, Lagos and Ibadan – Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Duties / Responsibilities
Brand Management:
- Analyze brand positioning and consumer insights
- Translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies
- Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications and sales estimates
- Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities
- Execute new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities
- Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions
- Propose innovative growth strategies
- Conduct occasional consumer survey, to gather insight, feedbacks on brands
- Collaborate with Brand Executives in monitoring the implementation of activities by marketing agencies.
Marketing Strategy:
- Deploy successful marketing campaigns and implementation from ideation to execution
- Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, copywriting, and performance analysis
- Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies, and vendors
- Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals.
Market Research:
- Carry out market research to gain a clear understanding of what the organization’s customers really want
- Identify new market opportunities to help the organization create a market niche for its products or services
- Study the organization’s competitors to develop superior products and employ efficient marketing techniques
- Conduct market analysis and forecasting to develop strategies to ensure the organization remains competitive
- Monitor competitors’ activities, pricing, and engage customers for insight generation and competitive intelligence.
Education and Experience
- Minimum of B.Sc (2.1) in preferably in Marketing or any related field
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in marketing functions
- Goods knowledge and use of Microsoft Office packages & ERP systems (Knowledge of Navision& SharePoint will be an added advantage).
- Age Requirement: 28 – 35yrs old
