Job Summary
- The Branch Performance Monitoring Manager will provide support for the development of the performance culture in our chain of stores and support them in enhancing their performance on a daily basis.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Store Performance Enhancement & Monitoring:
- Design and implement tools to measure and optimize store operations
- Carry out periodic, unscheduled visits and inspections of Outlets, Production Areas and Storage Areas to investigate illegalities or non-compliance
- Check and verify that authorized providers, persons and Outlets are abiding with specific authorization conditions as may be required such as relevant standards of operations applicable to each party.
- Perform spot checks with respect to ongoing projects or directives for improvements in operations and production units
- Create and implement planograms for the different outlets and ensure outlets are maintaining the planograms once implemented
- Evaluate adherence to planogram design or revise planogram where appropriate
- Consult with business development for all new stores to ensure maximum use of space and efficiency
- Organize shelf set up and goods merchandising in new stores
- Train outlet and production leaders on how to execute their duties in line with the BPM assessment metrics
- Ensure appropriate disciplinary measures are carried out on erring outlets each month based on BPM results
Store Opening and Expansion:
- Consult with business development for all new stores to ensure maximum use of space and efficiency
- Organize shelf set up and goods merchandising in new stores
Training, Development & Discipline:
- Train outlet and production leaders on how to execute their duties in line with the BPM assessment metrics
- Ensure appropriate disciplinary measures are carried out on erring outlets each month based on BPM results
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration
- A certification in operational efficiency will be an added advantage
- 4-6 years of related work experience
