We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Finance Associate, Inventory Control
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Job Type: Full time

Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining the inventory management system which includes reviewing and validating all activities carried out in inventory, purchases, sales, shipment and conversions.
- Track all inventory movements in and out of the warehouse from the above channels.
- Tracking of goods on transit for inventory purchases and sales.
- Supervise in recording of all transactions on ERP.
- Supervise in recording of all purchases and deliveries on ERP.
- Monthly reconciliation of inventory, liaising and coordinating with the Inventory control and LML team.
- Supervise and ensure weekly reconciliation after IC audit across warehouses to balance physical and book balances.
- Ensure proper tracking of obsolete Stock and ensure reduction of losses from obsolescence.
- Reconciliation of inventory after internal counts on a weekly basis.
- Reconciliation of inventory after external count & support month end closure on accounting package or ERP.
- Reconciliation of general ledger for inventory in line with the month end closure timetable.
- Provide oversight in monthly/quarterly/year end count and ensure correctness of inventory balance.
- Assist in end of year audit account for year closing for Inventory
- Other inventory assignments which may arise.
Reporting Line:
- This position reports to the Financial Controller, Finance Operations.
Requirements
Profound know-how in auditing and reporting:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance
- 4 to 6 years experience in Finance/Inventory related roles
- Proficiency in the use of Excel
- Knowledge of inventory management software or accounting software
- Good analytical and logistical thinking abilities
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
