Export Logistics Officer in a Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Company

A Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company with depots across the country is recruiting smart and resourceful individuals to fill the position below:

Job Title: Export Logistics Officer

REF: SD / ELO / 001
Location: Nigeria

Key Responsibilities
The appointee will amongst other things:

• Receive and process export call-up orders from the export documentation officer
• Liaise with warehouse and other concerned parties, coordinate the pick-up and loading of approved order(s) and samples for both market testing and regulatory agencies registrations
• Coordinate shipment of the order(s), and liaise appropriately with relevant local and international agencies
• Arrange cargo movement to international destinations, make bookings, prepare and process documentation as appropriate
• Ensure that all documentation meets 100% export regulations (commercial invoices, export declarations, packing list, bill of lading, etc
• Manage relationships with transportation providers, freight forwarders, shipping companies, inspection agents etc
• Generate, file and maintain up-to-date customer records and database for export operation reference purposes
• Oversee all export logistics operations in accordance with export procedure and processes
• Give general logistics support for the export unit o carry out any other function(s) as may be directed by the export manager.

Requirements
Our ideal candidate should:

• Possess a B.A / B.Sc in Art or Social Science with a minimum of 2nd Class Division
• Have a minimum of 3 years post NYSC experience in logistics operations
• Be able to drive with good knowledge of Lagos routes Have effective communication skills
• Have the ability to handle multiple tasks
• Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools.
