Description

  • Develop, plan and execute mobile advertising business plan and strategy
  • Create mobile advertising service roadmap based on industry trends using owned and third-party inventories
  • Lead brainstorming sessions with team members to cultivate ideas for new advertising campaign concepts, new inventories and design elements
  • Consistently manage and oversee advertising campaigns to ensure they are engaging customers and bringing in results
  • Identify opportunities to drive value to existing and new customers across identified segments of the market
  • Develop a competitive pricing approach to generate agreed margins for propositions under the Mobile Ads category
  • Identify trends and insights and optimize customer spend and performance based on the insights
  • Oversee the design and content of an advertising campaign to ensure it meets the needs of the target audience
  • Collaborate with clients to determine the goals of advertising projects and strategizing plans to meet those goals
  • Identify critical conversion points and drop off points and optimize owned and 3rd party inventories
  • Evaluate emerging technologies in the advertising space and create growth strategies
  • Provide thought leadership and perspective for advertising where appropriate
  • Review the performance of individual team members and complete appraisals in accordance with the employee performance appraisal procedures and time schedules.

Requirements
Education:

  • First Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or any related discipline
  • MBA or Masters is an added advantage
  • Fluent in English

Experience:

  • 9 – 17 years’ experience which includes:
    • Manager track record of 6 years or more; with at least 4 years’ experience in telecommunications, digital marketing, digital product management, content management
    • Proven experience in digital marketing, particularly within the telecommunication industry
    • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
    • Solid knowledge of marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends, SEMRush, etc.)
    • Working knowledge of ad serving tools
    • Knowledge and strong Experience in Digital Advertising Business
    • Good B2B sales experience, Digital sales experience will be advantageous
    • Hands on experience in managing and implementing digital products and initiatives
    • Project Management experience will be advantageous
    • Deep understanding of the digital ecosystem, players, business models and industry related best practices
    • Understanding of emerging markets and trends
    • Abreast of global mind-set and best practice.
