Job Title: Verification, Collection and Recovery Agent

Job Description
- We are looking to hire a “Verification, Collection & Recovery Agent”. This is a role where you will report directly to the Verification, Collection & Recovery Captain.
- In this capacity, you will be responsible for reviewing and verifying all required documents against preset criteria regarding sales approval.
Other Responsibilities
- Verification of expected customer addresses
- Submission of verified customer addresses within the stipulated turnaround time (TAT)
- Collect outstanding debts from clients and achieve collection targets to ensure positive cash flow.
- Recovering bad debts from delinquent debtors.
- Devising a customized recovery strategy on a case-by-case basis.
- Making outbound collection calls to debtors.
- Reducing the non-performing debts owed to the company
- Maintain accurately up-to-date customer account information.
- Sourcing for possible clients to boost the company’s sales
- Carry out other responsibilities as assigned by Team Lead
Job Requirements
- Minimum of OND in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or any related discipline
- Minimum of a year of experience working as a collections or recovery officer
- Excellent written and face interpersonal, communication, and persuasion skills
- Strong mathematical skills
- Experience in debt collection
- Evidence of well-developed organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to follow policy and procedures.
- Commitment to achieving performance goals
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft office tools including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
