Web Project Manager at Future Software Resources Nigeria Limited

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Web Project Manager

Location: Yaba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Objective

  • To oversee the development of web projects from the inception stage to the live online deployment thereof.
  • The Web Project Manager shall collaborate with stakeholders on the scope of web-based projects that the company engages in, lead teams in the development of web products, and prepare project status reports

Responsibilities
Business Development / Lead Management:

  • Conducting basic consultations with potential clients to establish their project scope / requirements
  • Establishing project scope and costing by studying strategic business drivers; discovering and validating business and technical requirements and parameters; obtaining input from subject-matter experts; examining and recommending changes to current business practices; developing and writing proposals and quotes.
  • Developing Quotations and Proposals for prospective clients
  • Managing communication with potential and existing customers and following up on leads / Answering the Futuresoft Support Phone Number.
  • Cross selling to existing customers / Recommending value added / post implementation support services like SEO, content management, website maintenance, etc.

Project Management:

  • Implementing solutions by monitoring project progress; tracking action items; conducting design and implementation reviews; examining, researching, and resolving issues; escalating issues to appropriate authority; responding to clients’ concerns; coordinating requirements with clients and 3rd party providers.
  • Day to day management of the development team.
  • Liaising with partners (hosting partners, 3rd party developers, other creative agencies, content development partners, PR partners and any other partners involved in project delivery)
  • Managing content updates and updates of customer websites and any other customer infrastructure on a periodic basis.
  • Sourcing of images and any other audio-visual content for the client as may be required.
  • Quality control and Go Live Testing: review and testing of all projects / Review Website updates sent by Developers in line with client brief.
  • Developing Content Management Manuals for clients
  • Conducting training sessions on how to update the CMS for clients.

Client Management:

  • Developing a solid and trusting relationship between clients and Futuresoft
  • Daily communication with clients via meetings, phone calls, Whatsapp chats or emails
  • Documenting all client communication via email.
  • Relating issues to the Agency Account Manager or MD/CEO to ensure quick resolution of client complaints
  • Anticipating account changes and improvements
  • Managing communications between clients and internal team
  • Managing account team assigned to each client.
  • Reminding clients of deliverables and ensuring project timelines are met
  • Working with team members from other departments dedicated to the same client account to ensure the highest quality of materials are being produced and all client needs met.
  • Meeting all client needs and deliverables according to agreed timeliness.

Strategy Development:

  • Strategic planning to improve client results
  • Creating strategies to maximize profit by up-selling or cross-selling
  • Periodic reviews of strategy and tweaking and updating of strategies.
  • Presentation of strategy to Agency Account Manager or MD/CEO as well as to clients
  • Project Plan Development
  • Keeping of Timesheet.

Reporting:

  • Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and weekly, monthly and quarterly initiatives to share with team members, stakeholders, and possible use in future case studies or company training
  • Analysing client data to provide customer relationship management and strategies to develop their business.
  • Daily Snapshot reports to be sent to Agency Account Manager or MD/CEO
  • Weekly Reports to Agency Account Manager or MD/CEO
  • Periodic Reports to clients.
  • Quarterly Review Meetings with clients based on Quarterly Report.

Training:

  • Ability to deliver technical trainings to leads, clients and internal team as required.

Managing the Company’s Digital Assets and Database:

  • Ensuring that the company website and other digital collateral (Youtube Channel, Email Marketing Tool, SEO, Google Analytics etc.) are always up to date.
  • Setting up landing pages for webinars and other virtual events.
  • Maintaining company CRM and mailing list and updating content on company website.

Digital Channel Management:

  • All activities related to the actual account management, including, but not limited to:
    • Creating and uploading blog posts
    • Implementation of Basic SEO
    • Keyword and Hashtag Research
    • Setting up GDN and other online Ads
    • Coordinating online Media buying activities.
    • Updating website content
    • Creating scope of work documents for web development projects.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 4 – 6 years work experience.

  • Ability to multitask and manage more than one client account.
  • Proven results of delivering client solutions and meeting sales goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem Solving & Critical Thinking skills.
  • The ability to learn fast and willingness to learn as well as the ability to teach others.

  • It will be required of you to learn all technical procedures linked to our products and services
  • It will also be required of you to constantly update yourself with customer service, social media and digital marketing best practices and apply them to accounts you manage as well as share them with your team and clients as needed.
