Job Title: Business Operations Analyst

Job Summary
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
- The role entails leading ongoing reviews of business processes, developing optimization strategies, conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings, performing requirements analysis, and documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
- The Business operations analyst will communicate insights and plans effectively to cross-functional team members and management, gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce valuable reports while working closely with the technical and management team.
Responsibilities
- Determine operational objectives by researching business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats.
- Construct workflow charts and diagrams; assess system capabilities; and write specifications.
- Upscale and improve our current method of operations by reviewing current practices and designing modifications.
- Outline project requirements by defining project milestones, phases, and elements, as well as putting together a project team and developing a project budget.
- Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending corrective actions.
- Prepare technical reports by compiling, analysing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Validate resource requirements and develop cost estimation models.
- Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, and operational research to support strategic and business planning across various departments and programs of the client group.
- Interpret, evaluate, and interrelate research data to create integrated business analysis and projections for strategic decision-making.
- Plan and coordinate the development of primary and secondary market research studies in support of strategic planning and specific marketing initiatives as needed, and present study findings to client committees.
- Examine various areas such as operations, purchasing, inventory, distribution, and facilities.
- Participate actively in the implementation of approved changes.
- Suggest changes to senior management using analytics to back up your recommendations.
- Recognize and communicate the financial and operational implications of any changes.
- Share insights and plans with members of the cross-functional team and management.
- Review and analyse current processes on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis using operational metrics and reports.
- Create in-depth, actionable, and repeatable reporting that highlights important business trends and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
- A good Higher Educational Degree.
- 1 – 3 years’ experience as an operations analyst or in a related field.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional analytical skills
- Excellent listening and presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Experience working in a high-performing team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports while working closely with clients, technicians, and management to monitor and prepare reports.
Remuneration
N110,000 Monthly.
