It has created a niche since its incorporation in the areas of security services, engineering, marine, welding and fabrication, procurement and supply services in the oil and gas industries.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: ICT Head

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Manage information technology and computer systems
• Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
• Manage IT staff by recommending recruitment, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
• Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
• Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
• Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
• Audit systems and assess their outcomes
• Preserve assets, information security and control structures
• Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
• Network Management with proficiency in: Structured Cabling, fibre optic cabling, setting up a LAN, TCP/IP Configuration, Domain & Work group Configuration, Creating & Managing User Accounts, Sharing Internet and other resources

Job Requirements

• B.Sc in Computer Science, MIS or similar field
• Qualification in CCNA, CCNP, MCP, MCSA, MCSE
• Proven working experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience – minimum of 5 years experience as IT Manager/Head of Department
• Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and computer hardware/software systems
• Expertise in information technology and telecommunication development
• Expertise in data centre management and data governance
• Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
• Ability to manage personnel
• Ability to provide support to staff members.
