Investment One Financial Services Limited, one of Nigeria’s leading providers of financial and investment services is sponsoring a photography competition, the African Photography Competition 2023 for amateur and professional photographers to help boost their careers and win prizes of up to N5 million.
The competition, which is open to anyone with talent in photography, seeks to showcase and capture “Life In The City” through photographs. These photographs fall under different categories and descriptions, ranging from personal shots, landscapes, and architectural monuments, to street shots, events, foods & drinks, etc.
For the Professional category, participants can use devices like drones and standard professional cameras to take shots. While for the Amateur category, which includes those nurturing a career in Photography, participants can use their mobile phone cameras to take shots.
All interested participants must be between ages 18–40 years and above, and must take original photographs, to stand a chance to win over 5 million worth of cash prizes and gifts. Below are the steps for registration and participation:
1. Log onto www.africanphotographyorganization.com
2. Click on “Enter” on the slide bar or register anywhere on the page
3. Take a minute to fill out the Register: New Member Form
4. Proceed to the member’s log-in section
5. Fill out a 1-minute personal profile
6. Upload fresh images. not violent, pornographic, stock, or photoshopped images
7. Choose your category: Professional or Amateur (based on your photography tool)
8. Choose the photo competition category based on your image.
9. Add the description of the image and Tag
10. Wait for the approval of the image(s)
11. Share APPROVED IMAGES with your friends to vote.
Remember, only original photographs are allowed, and entries for the competition close on Friday, June 30th, 2023
