We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Analytics Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Purpose

  • Drive data adoption and build insight generation capabilities around digital products and services, and a culture were data drives new features and improvements.
  • To provide deep seated Insight into product related data to help drive better business decisions, improve product performance, and inform techniques to solve problems and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Team Management:

  • Lead cross-functional projects.
  • Manage the data champions within the business.
  • Recruit, train, develop and supervise data analysts.

Data Advocacy and Awareness:

  • Trainings on interactions with the dashboards.
  • Periodic ‘Do you know’ Series.

Shared Analytics:

  • Evaluate and support requests from other interswitch business groups and shared services.

Product Analytics:

  • Descriptive Analytics: Creation and Management of Analytical Dashboards for products.
  • Identify Dashboard Requirements for all the products.
  • Setup performance Dashboards as required and continually maintain and improve on them.
  • Create Dashboards that help quickly detect problems with the product.
  • Provide Support and Trainings for Dashboard Usage.
  • Pro-actively enhance dashboards in line with Business realities.
  • Exploratory Analytics: Analyse Data to reveal Intelligence for driving Strategic Decisions as well as Data based forecasting.
  • Set and Track Key Performance Indicators for products.
  • Products Analytics.
  • Make recommendations based on Analytics for Service Improvements.
  • Track Service Improvements by continuous review of Service Performance.

Data Engineering:

  • Setup and Maintain Data Sources to support products analytics Use Cases.
  • Ensure that Data feeding the Dashboards are pro-actively updated.
  • Undertake / Participate in pre-processing of structured and unstructured data.
  • Monitor and audit data quality to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Data Science:

  • Build predictive, and prescriptive models and machine learning algorithms.
  • Develop and Drive Improvement Initiatives.
  • Work on analytics objectives (Churn, growth rate and drivers, customer lifetime, product vs competition) etc.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product development departments.

Education and Experience

  • Academic Qualification(s):  B.Eng. / B.Sc. or M.Sc in Computer Science or related
  • Professional Qualification(s): Essential
  • Experience (Number of relevant years): At least 5 years in a similar position.
