Role Overview
- We are looking for a results-driven Marketing Officer who can interface directly with internal and external stakeholders to support, administer and enhance the systems and processes accordingly, and deliver successful results and campaigns that are memorable and will positively and directly impact the bottom line. This will include mentoring and developing the existing marketing team, as well as building out the team as we continue to scale. The successful candidate can make the role their own, have a visible impact, and reap both the professional and personal rewards of joining a rapidly growing scale-up.
- Working in partnership with the Management Consultant, and the rest of the team, this will be a great chance to collaborate and get involved to help build something special and potentially legendary.
Principal Functions
- The Marketing Officer is responsible for planning and organizing a company’s marketing strategy. He or she must be able to calculate the demand for the products or services offered by the company, determine the customer base, monitor trends, and analyze the competition.
- This job aims to coordinate all aspects of marketing to ensure increased sales qualified leads and profits.
- Marketing strategy and planning: Design marketing strategy and operational plan for each product across all relevant channels based on a deep understanding of the business, product, and marketing strategies.
- Execution of marketing plan: Own the execution of all marketing activities, including adjusting the plan as required, hands-on execution, and working with internal and external teams
- Content marketing and social media: Produce high-quality content and distribute it effectively across all relevant channels. Produce valuable and engaging content for the website and blog that attracts and converts target groups. Grow the social media followership across different channels and increase community engagement.
- Targeted campaigns: Work closely with other stakeholders (internal and external) to design and execute effective events and campaigns for high-quality lead generation. Developing strategies and tactics to boost the company’s reputation and drive qualified traffic.
- Conferences and events: Organize targeted events for existing and potential counterparties. Promote the company brand at trade shows and major industry-related events.
- PR and media: Work with the Management Consultant to develop a communication plan and relationships with media, support the team in getting speaker invitations, targeted media coverage, etc.
- Email Marketing: Create email newsletters every bi-weekly which highlights the latest trend and update for the citizenship and residency industry.
- Website Management: Write editorial content, and create and upload videos onto web pages. Edit and update web content as required.
- Reporting & analytics: Prepare and present quarterly and annual reports to senior management. Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight, and assess against goals.
- Stay up-to-date with digital media developments and industry trends.
- Perform other duties assigned to you by your Line Manager
Requirements
The Ideal Candidate has the:
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields with 2 years work experience.
- Previous marketing experience in a travel agency, airline, and/or challenger/disruptive fintech company (desirable but not mandatory)
- Both digital and off-line marketing experience: paid search, social media marketing, building a brand online, press releases, radio spots, prints, and all marketing channels
- Highly analytical, data-driven – a must and a top priority: unit economics, A/B testing, cohort analysis
- Good understanding and a great interest in personal finance, challenger financial products and new entrants in the market, and the fintech space
- A creative approach to marketing and a “growth-hacking” philosophy would be a strong advantage
- Strong experience with content creation, and content marketing
- Ability and willingness to be fully hands-on, but with the added responsibility of managing a team.
- Proven experience in successfully managing and launching new innovative products.
- Proven experience in leading, motivating, and managing a team to deliver to deadlines across multiple projects.
- Strong analytical capabilities with finance, data, and statistics, and the ability to evaluate and interpret complex marketing data.
