Job Summary
- We are seeking a creative and skilled Social Media Executive to join our dynamic marketing team. As a Social Media Executive, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, engage with our target audience, and drive business objectives.
- We are looking for individuals who are passionate about social media, stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices, and have a knack for creating compelling content that resonates with our audience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and drive engagement across various social media platforms (such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Create engaging and shareable content, including text, image, and video, that aligns with the brand’s tone and identity.
- Conduct research and analyze market trends, audience preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for social media optimization and campaign development.
- Plan, schedule, and publish social media posts using social media management tools, ensuring consistent posting and maintaining an active presence.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, fostering positive relationships with followers and addressing customer concerns effectively.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate social media campaigns, promotions, and product launches, ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives.
- Monitor social media metrics, track performance, and generate reports to evaluate the effectiveness of social media campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay informed about emerging social media platforms, trends, and best practices, and provide recommendations for incorporating new strategies or features into the social media strategy.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the target audience, market trends, and industry-specific news to create relevant and engaging content.
- Collaborate with graphic designers, photographers, and videographers to create visually appealing and high-quality social media content.
- Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends, including SEO, SEM, and content marketing, to integrate them effectively into social media campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and social media policies, and maintain a consistent brand voice and identity across all social media channels.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
- 2 – 6 years work experience.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Executive or a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns.
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, their functionalities, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and the ability to interpret data to drive actionable insights.
- Proficiency in using social media management tools, scheduling platforms, and analytics tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and persuasive content.
- Creative mindset with a passion for staying updated on the latest social media trends and emerging platforms.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate ideas and feedback.
- Familiarity with graphic design and video editing tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and techniques, including SEO and content marketing, is a plus.
Salary
N45,000 – N70,000 monthly
