The National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) together with the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture (DSAC), in response to the Presidential stimulus programme, is looking to recruit South African graduates and unemployed youth (aged 35 and younger) to assist with the digitisation project for the National Archives and Records Services of South Africa (NARSSA).
The project is expected to start on 1 August 2023 and continue until 31 March 2024.
All applications must include the following:
1. Copy of CV
2. Certified copy of ID
3. Certified copy of Driver’s Licence (Code 10 and PDP where applicable)
4. Certified copies of qualifications and certificates

The National Archives and Records Service of South Africa (NARSSA) was established by promulgation of the National Archives and Records Service of South Africa Act (Act No 43 of 1996, as amended). This piece of legislation transformed the former State Archives Service into a National Archives and Records Service whose mission, functions send structures reflect the South African democratic political order and imperatives. in essence, the mission of the National Archives and Records Service is to foster a national identity and the protection of nights.
