Job Title: Diesel Generator Operator
Location: Gwarzo, Kano
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Responsibilities
- Operate diesel generator ranging from 200kva-2500kva
- Perform preventive maintenance on diesel generators checking for worn parts and leaks.
- Troubleshooting and repair of diesel generators whenever fault occurs.
- Responsible for top or complete overhauling of Diesel Generator.
- Troubleshoot diesel engines, 3-phase generators, and transfer switches as they apply to various equipment and systems when voltage, amperage, cycles and phases show defects.
- Should install, troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain and repair a variety of large, small and complex heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration.
- Ensure the wiring and electrical components are up to code and work efficiently and safely.
Requirements
- B.Sc / HND in Mechanical Engineering.
- Residence in Kano and Commutability to Gwarzo road is essential.
- Minimum of 3 years cognate experience as a Generator Maintenance Officer.
- A seasoned technician with a minimum of TTC / NABTEB / Diploma / OND qualifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Good communication skills (oral and written).
- Well familiar with Mikano Diesel Engine Generator.
Salary
N80,000 – N120,000 / month.
