FairMoney is building the leading mobile bank for emerging markets. We started with a digital microcredit application on Android, and currently roll out additional financial services (current account, savings, debit card) while expanding the product to Western Africa and South-East Asia.

  • You will be working as a Product Operations Manager in our Product and Technology Division, which is now composed of 75+ people in Lagos, Bangalore, Paris, Türkiye, and remotely across the globe.
  • We are building Engineering centers of excellence across multiple regions and are looking for smart, talented, driven engineers.

About The Role

  • We are currently seeking to hire a Product Operations Manager whose sole focus will be on increasing efficiency and improving collaboration.
  • The ideal candidate will concentrate on streamlining internal workflows, processes, and tools throughout each stage of product development – from strategizing and ideating to planning, building, launching, and beyond.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Implementing or optimizing systems and processes
  • Ensuring timely, audience-appropriate communication
  • Analyzing, synthesizing, and automating data created or used by product management
  • Offloading non-core product management tasks
  • Identifying areas where team effort doesn’t align with the core strategy
  • Defining, documenting, and maintaining release processes
  • Building (or re-engineering) processes for repeatable, critical tasks
  • Identifying product feedback loops within the organization and working with stakeholders to close those loops with new routines
  • Scaling product knowledge across the organization
  • Developing and documenting the norms and standards for tool use within product management.

Requirements

  • You should have 3+ years of working with a high-growth tech company or working in banking/finance-related business areas such as acquiring, payments and so on.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent product knowledge and operational excellence.
  • Strong understanding of payments and collections products.
  • Experience with different transaction scenarios within the Fin-Tech Industry.
  • Highly customer-centric and good problem solving skills.
  • A strong knack for data.
  • Readiness to provide insight and deliver measurable results for sophisticated products under ambiguous situations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite – Excel.
