Media Trust Group – Daily Trust Foundation is the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of Media Trust Group, based in Abuja. The Foundation touches the lives of the Nigerian public in diverse ways through interventions in sectors like education, health, water, gender, prisons, and the execution of humanitarian projects. It is also involved in capacity building for Nigerians in the media and journalism field.
They are recruiting a suitably qualified candidate to fill the position below:
Job Title: Programme Officer
Location: Abuja

Responsibilities
The project officer shall carry out the following responsibilities:
- Overseeing projects and reporting on progress Projects planning and implementation
- Organizing meetings
- Has good understanding of monitoring and evaluation
- Proposal and report writing
- Good computer skills, including the use of Excel
- Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Working hand-in-hand with the programme director
Qualifications and Skills
- The candidate must hold minimum of a First Degree or its equivalent in any of the Social Sciences, and at least three years cognate experience as a project officer in a non-profit organization.
Skills:
He or she must have the following skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Organizational and time management
- Good interpersonal relations
- IT and database, and project management.
