We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Credit Controller
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Assists in the maintenance of the general ledger, post and review all intercompany financial transactions making accruals and adjustments as needed
- Prepare and analyze monthly consolidated profit and loss statements,
- Balance Sheet and month close accounting reports for the Group
- Review monthly intercompany accounts reconciliation, resolve outstanding/unusual items or accounting entry discrepancies
- Creating procedures and policies that ensure timely payments while maintaining a high level of customer retention
- Reconciling complex accounts
- Ensuring credit and collection policies and procedures are followed within the team
- Liaising with customers, as well as internal personnel including the sales team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a First Degree in Accounting, Finance or any related discipline
- Relevant Professional qualification e.g. ICAN, ACCA, etc.
- A minimum of 6 years relevant experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
