Job Title: 

Location: Lekki / Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Contract (Fully Onsite)
Reports To: Chief Executive Officer
Direct Report: Finance, Legal, Admin, and HR Division
Works & Interacts With: Corporate Office at Ikeja and Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, and any other project location, as may be required to complete work responsibilities

The Role

  • We are seeking an Operationand Business Strategy Manager to join our growing company, to identify and execute growth opportunities for our company.
  • This is a C-level executive position and the holder will develop and execute strategies to facilitate the company’s business growth and operational excellence. The holder will evaluate market forecasts and long-term trends, collect competitive intelligence, drive cross-functional business processes, and maintain business model innovation.
  • To succeed in this position, one must clearly understand the role, be focused on planning, growth, and business model innovation objectives, and display sound judgment on which business strategy to apply for success.
  • Furthermore, the holder, guarantees the seamless operations of the company with a particular focus on service delivery, Finance, Legal, general administration, and HR to ensure that the working environment and human resources are properly managed and organized to execute their jobs.

Contract Type:

  • Fixed-term Contract Employment for 12 months, with an opportunity to be retained as a permanent employee, or contract renewed given satisfactory performance and completion of key milestones and KPI Deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Developing an inclusive strategic plan and strategy by collaborating with the leadership team, board, and executive.
  • Manage the Finance division to develop a capital plan in line with the strategy.
  • Analyzing market dynamics, market share changes, product line performance, and competitive intelligence.
  • Identifying key capital projects, and other strategic partnership opportunities.
  • Identifying strategic risks, and monitoring the execution of business initiatives.
  • Collaborating with leadership, special committees, and consultants to execute strategies.
  • Communicating strategy effectively throughout the company, ensuring that the most suitable metrics are in place to measure the performance and progress of the business and workforce.
  • Key member of the executive team, that ensures that client-paid services and support operations of the company are optimal and efficient.
  • Oversees procurement across the company and acts as the No. 1 service provider and regulatory body to other divisions.
  • Manage the general staff and division integration and coordination, permanently pursuing improved efficiency and optimal quality within agreed budgets.
  • Strive to attain the best and most profitable balance between Sales Department (client demands) and internal processes (project and campaign schedules, lead times, etc.).
  • Ensure the optimal working environment within the office and resources (coordinate Admin) and within the staff (coordinate HR).
  • Ensures that the legal division protects the organization from legal and regulatory threats.

About You

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from any accredited university.
  • A Master’s Degree in Business Management from any accredited university (preferably an MBA).
  • Advanced or professional course or degree in marketing, business development, business management, operations, etc.
  • Proven track record of excellence and 8+ years of experience, of which 4+ years in a senior management position providing strategic leadership and direction.
  • Industry exeperiencewith Media and Entertainment is required.

Ability to Use, Understand or Apply:

  • Various software including calendar and schedule management, word processing, spreadsheet, databases, and presentation software.
  • Research, Data modeling, Business Performance Dashboards, and Analytics.
  • In-depth understanding of the entire Microsoft Office suite, and other Google systems.

Benefits

  • Salary: N600,000 – N800,000 Gross Monthly (The final offer to be decided by the level of expertise, qualification, and capacity).
  • Industry competitive package: salary and performance-linked bonus.
