Job Description
- We are seeking to hire a highly motivated and experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our dynamic team, focusing on the Manufacturing, Warehousing, and Logistics industries.
- The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in talent acquisition and possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- You will be tasked with understanding client needs, sourcing, screening, and presenting qualified candidates to fill various positions within their organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and professional associations, to identify potential candidates with relevant skills and experience in manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics.
- Providing account management, support and excellent customer service to clients and candidates across an allocated and developing portfolio
- Maintaining/servicing, developing and growing a portfolio of clients, Filling shift requests with suitably skilled and experienced staff as well as obtaining candidate’s weekly availability, understanding and getting to know their skills and areas of speciality in order to place them in suitable environments whilst offering continued support
- Recruiting staff through headhunting, generating candidate leads and referrals.
- Screening of Candidates: Conduct in-depth interviews and assessments to analyse candidates’’ qualifications, abilities, and cultural fit to meet specific client requirements.
- Client Relationship Management: Build reliable relationship with current clients to learn about their hiring requirements, gain an in-depth knowledge of their corporate culture, and offer outstanding service.
- Job Posting and Advertising: Develop eye-catching job ads and advertisements to draw top candidates to various online and offline channels.
- Candidate Management: Manage candidate databases, track candidate progress, and maintain regular communication throughout the hiring process.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and recruitment best practices within the manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics sectors.
- Negotiation: Facilitate salary negotiations and handle offer extensions between clients and candidates to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure adherence to all relevant all recruitment laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the hiring process. Maintain accurate and organized candidate records.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on recruitment metrics, candidate pipeline, and client activity to present to the management team within specified timeframe.
- Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to comprehend their specific hiring needs, job requirements, and company culture to ensure the ideal candidate fit.
- Talent Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates to ensure timely fulfillment of client requirements.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with both clients and candidates to foster long-term partnerships.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the internal team to understand client priorities and foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant or in a similar talent acquisition role, preferably with a focus on Manufacturing, Warehousing, and Logistics.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Manufacturing, Warehousing, and Logistics industries, including key job roles, skills, and challenges.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess candidate suitability and match them to client needs.
- Time Management: Effective time management and organizational abilities to handle multiple client demands and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), social media platforms, other recruitment tools and Microsoft package.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards in all recruitment activities.
- A track record of meeting and exceeding recruitment targets and performance metrics.
Compensation
N200,000 – N300,000 / Month.
