Green Force Group is an eco-friendly energy company with the plan to provide green energy solutions across Africa by deploying Solar PV plants and bridging the gap between what our customers want and what is available from our power grid.

We are recruiting suitable candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales and Business Development Manager

Location: Abuja
Employment Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and engage potential clients to establish new business relationships.
  • Lead the sales team in reaching targets and expanding customer reach.
  • Engage in solution-based discussions and negotiations with clients to close deals effectively.
  • Collaborate with the support team to address customer concerns and ensure a smooth sales-to-service transition.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
  • Foster and maintain positive client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and monitor performance metrics.
  • Manage the sales budget for optimal returns.
  • Regularly update and maintain sales records and client databases, providing weekly and monthly sales reports to management.
  • Organize training for product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Provide regular feedback and coaching to the sales team.
  • Work closely with the marketing and technical teams to align sales strategies and campaigns.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a relevant field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 5 years of sales experience preferably in consumer product sales
  • 2 years of experience in sales leadership roles
  • Knowledge of the energy  industry is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing the sales process end-to-end.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to use CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive, self-starter with a hunger for achieving sales targets.
  • Candidate must be resident in Abuja, Nigeria.
