Job Title: Shift Supervisor

Locations: Dopemu, Papalanto, Abeokuta, Ota, Ogijo – Ogun and Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • To provide visible leadership to the team members by overseeing the operations and management on a daily basis with the aim to maximize profit while minimizing cost.
  • Manage daily schedules and employee shifts.
  • Assist in process changes and oversee quality within the new processes.
  • Respond quickly to any crises that arise within the shift in a timely and practical manner.
  • Coordinate with Production Team leaders, Engineering Technicians, and quality inspectors to resolve any arising quality issues for smooth operations.
  • Generate shift and handover reports.
  • Ensure adherence to all established Standard Operating Procedures
  • Manage the leave process of team members.
  • Duly allocate and approve overtime hours to team members when the need arises.
  • Actively coach and mentor team members to deliver excellent results.
  • Conduct training in equipment in equipment operations or work and safety procedures during on-the-the job training of new hires.
  • Explains, enforces, and supports all management-approved rules, standards, procedures, governmental requirements, and Company policies to assigned personnel to ensure operators are following these consistently and completely

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess an OND, HND, or B.Sc. Degree
  • Minimum of two years of progressive experience as a shift supervisor
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry or FMCG is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent record-keeping and supervisory skills.
