Job Title: Technical Assistant to CEO

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Main duty is to provide technical engineering support to the CEO with respect to engineering activities:
  • Be the first point of contact for the CEO’s office with respect to all internal and external technical matter or correspondence.
  • Distil technical proposal and presentations for CEO’s action and response
  • Prepare CEO’s proposal, analysis and presentations
  • Represent and make presentations on behalf of CEO where required
  • Provide technical support at meetings and
  • Take charge of and Manage CEO’s technical communication with departments / heads
  • Co-ordinate Technical Training and CPD with HR Dept
  • Ensure proper, up-to-date documentation of technical activities for the CEO’s office
  • Organise complex technical information of products and services and ensure they are effectively transmitted company-wide particularly to the Technical Sales team.
  • Obtain regular reports and monitor company’s relationship with OEMs actively through the Procurement Dept and update CEO regularly.
  • Ensure overall quality operation and smooth efficiency of the office of the CEO in the technical aspect, eliminating response delays on technical matters to zero.
  • Conducting Research and analysis to update company knowledge to meet industry standards and driving technical innovation for the company.

Qualifications and Skills

  • First Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Met & Mat., Production, Electronic, etc)
  • First Class or Upper Credit will be an advantage
  • Relevant Certifications will be added advantage.
  • 2 – 8 Years’ Working Experience in Engineering roles
  • Sound Engineering Knowledge, Strong Research Ability, Attention to Detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Sound Presentation, Communication and industry networking skills.
  • Impressive Personal Presentation, Attention to Detail and Commitment to Work
  • She / He should have an upwardly-mobile mindset, and be looking earnestly to advance his/her career rapidly within the engineering service industry and procurement field.
