We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Supply Chain Officer
Location: Oyo
Job Responsibilities
Procurement:
- Identify suppliers, solicit bids, and negotiate contracts for goods and services.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to source materials, equipment, and services at competitive prices.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory levels and monitor stock levels to meet demand.
- Implement inventory control measures to prevent stockouts and reduce excess inventory.
- Coordinate with other departments to forecast inventory needs accurately.
Logistics and Distribution:
- Plan and optimize distribution routes to minimize transportation costs and ensure timely deliveries.
- Coordinate with carriers, customs, and freight forwarders to facilitate the smooth flow of goods.
Supplier Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
- Evaluate supplier performance and resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate with suppliers to improve lead times and quality.
Quality Assurance:
- Collaborate with quality control and assurance teams to ensure that products meet established quality standards.
- Address and resolve quality-related issues with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Cost Control:
- Analyze supply chain costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers.
- Manage and report on budgetary considerations related to supply chain activities.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect and analyze supply chain data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present regular reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs).
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to supply chain activities.
- Assist with audits and compliance reviews as needed.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in supply chain management.
Qualification
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree .
