We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Male Salon Manager 

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • They are looking to hire a Salon Manager (preferably Male) to be responsible for its day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead the salon staff team in providing excellent services and maximizing profit.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the salon, including opening and closing procedures, staff behaviour and customer intake procedures.
  • Manage inventory salon products by maintaining records of stock quantities on hand and ordering replacement items.
  • Advise Management on any potential threats or issues.
  • Oversee appointment schedule.
  • Setting goals for each Employee, evaluating performance, providing training and overall guidance in liaison with the HR Manager.
  • Assist in recruiting Salon Staff that meets mandatory educational and licensing requirements.
  • Supervise training for salon staff in procedure, policy and health regulations.
  • Schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage for the salon’s needs.
  • Resolve customer complaints and provide solutions to staff disputes.
  • Ensuring that the Salon is clean and tidy at all times.
  • Staying up to date with new trends and styles in the industry.
  • Maintain constant communication with staff and Management.
  • Manage Facilities.
  • Report stock in and out and liaise effectively with the Inventory Manager

Key Qualifications Required

  • OND or HND equivalent experience in management or administration
  • minimum of 3-4 years of extensive managerial experience.
  • Advanced organizational skills to manage staff and operations
  • Interest and ability to continue learning about market standards and changes in trends
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to Provide excellent customer service and be a brand ambassador.
  • Knowledge of inventory management
  • Excellent communication and team-leading skills
  • Detailed knowledge of the beauty industry and customer needs
  • Ability to work under pressure.

2.) Accountant / Financial Manager

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • We seek to require the services of an Accountant / Financial Manager to oversee the management of the company’s financial activities and funds.
  • He or she will also be responsible for developing and implementing the company’s financial policies and strategies as well as anticipating and controlling the financial risks.

Responsibilities

  • To maintain sound accounting practices and internal control mechanisms that ensure that the company’s financial goals are met.
  • Assist with the formulation of financial strategies and plans for funding the company’s projects and operations.
  • Foster strategic relationships with key financial institutions to ensure quick and favorable treatment of the company’s financial transactions.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of cost management strategies to monitor and compare prices/cut costs in the company’s business activities.
  • Recommend investment strategies that will ensure high returns on investment while assuring liquidity for operational cash flow for the business.
  • Ensure statutory and regulatory requirements compliance, of all finance reports and activities. Maybe the part that says “minimum of 5 years in the finance function of a trading company and in a managerial/supervisory position.

Requirements

  • Minimum of First Degree in Accounting or any business-related course.
  • A minimum of 5 years of working experience in the finance function of a trading company and in a managerial/supervisory position.
  • Experience in preparing and interpreting financial statements for internal and external use.
  • Professional Accounting qualification such as ICAN, ACA, or ACCA is essential.
  • Hands-on experience, a self-starter able to work with little or no supervision.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset is critical for this role.
  • Attention to detail.

3.) Optometrist

Job Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough routine eye inspections including visual acuity measurement, refractions, Eye pressure measurement, and so on
  • Identify the patient’s visual alertness, field of vision, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Diagnose sight problems, such as near-sightedness and color blindness.
  • Promote eye health by teaching patients about proper eye care techniques.
  • Prescribe corrective lenses and medications
  • Contact lens fitting and Focimeter use
  • Take detailed medical histories for all patients, including current and past prescription medications
  • Provide pre-and postoperative care to patients undergoing eye surgery—for example, examining a patient’s eyes the day after surgery
  • Clearly document diagnosis and treatment plan, including referrals, therapeutic prescriptions and long-term medical management, in patients’ charts
  • Maintain communication with Nurses and support staff in order to optimize quality clinical care and service
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree
  • 1 – 4 years of work experience.
  • Current license to operate
  • Participate in the implementation of patient education, clinical support, and community outreach programs
  • Must be able to evaluate the results of a variety of diagnostic tests and decide on the best course of treatment for a patient
  • Must be able to clearly explain eye care instructions to their patients, as well as answer patients’ questions.
  • Customer service oriented with excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Demonstrates leadership qualities
  • Able to work under stressful situations
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of eye-related disorders, conditions, and treatment
  • Flexible, team player, and critical thinker
